Specifications
D301 is a brand new acid descaler engineered to be safe even on light alloys.

  • Easily dissolves water scale.
  • Works in hot or cold water.
  • Safe on all steels, iron and light alloys.
  • Non toxic and non explosive.


Dosage
D301 was engineered to dissolve water scale from evaporators built with very light alloys like Cu–Ni–Al. Further testing shows that D301 is also effective removing water scale or marine growth from heat exchangers, boilers and water cooling systems.

For recirculation in heat exchangers, D301 concentrate, is usually diluted from 3% to 5% with water and recirculated by mean of a acid proof pump from 2 to 4 hours depending on the degree of scaling of the system. After emptying the system and rinsing with fresh water, we suggest the use of an alkaline compound to neutralize any acid leftover.

The ready-to-use solution has specific thickeners to allow the product to be sprayed on vertical surfaces such as propeller blades and rudders in order to remove barnacles.
